Created in 2008, KentuckyUnited ‘s goal is to raise awareness of Kentucky as a business location and to increase the number of prospects interested in locating to the Commonwealth. Gov. Matt Bevin today joined local officials in Benton and Independent Stave Co. LLC executives to break ground on the company’s second Kentucky mill, which will produce barrel staves for the bourbon and whiskey industries.
KentuckyUnited works closely with the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, the primary state agency encouraging job creation, retention and business investment in Kentucky.
